Nesmuk Exclusive Slicer - For the highest demands on elegance and cutting performance
The blades of the C100 series are an expression of perfect craftsmanship. Typical of the C100 series is the elaborate, faceted hollow cut on both sides. Especially with the wider blade types, the facet makes it easier to remove the material to be cut from the blade.
The starting steels used in our Damascus steel for the C90 and C100 series are high-performance tool steels. A high carbon content and, among other things, tungsten result in material properties that are extraordinary. The result is the extreme sharpness and outstanding service life of the Nesmuk EXKLUSIV blades.
The blades of the Slicer C100 consists of 210 layers and has a hardness of 62 to 63 HRC.
Thanks to the vitreous NPC coating (Nesmuk Protective Coating) developed jointly with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology, the Nesmuk EXCLUSIVE blades are protected against corrosion.
PRECISION TOOL FROM A MASTER'S HAND - 210 layers of steel form the elegant pattern of the wild damask and underline the elegant lines of the slicer. The 160 mm long, facetted blade with hollow ground on both sides ensures that the food to be cut does not stick to it and is ideal for filleting thanks to its slim silhouette. Classic wild damask symbolizes the origin of this craftsmanship: the composition of different types of steel, specifically selected to combine their functional advantages and thus create a blade that is far superior to conventional monosteel blades. Carbon content: 1.0 %.
FORM AND FUNCTION - The facet applied by hand over the entire length of the blade underlines the elegant lines of the slicer. At the same time, the facet ensures less sticking of the product to be cut, as the product to be cut falls off more easily and thus enables fast and comfortable work.
FILLETING AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL - Below the facet, the blade is hollow-ground by hand on both sides: only the perfectly coordinated combination of the finest carbon steels, flexible blade and hollow ground on both sides enables precise filleting at the highest level.
