Eickhorn FK2000:

The knives in the Field Knife series are inexpensive multi-tools. The Eickhorn FK2000 was assembled from proven Eickhorn components. The focus during development was on an excellent price-performance ratio. The Eickhorn FK2000 consists of a 3.6 mm thick blade made of Eickhorn special steel, which enables a high bending angle without permanent deformation of the blade. The black coating effectively protects the knife from corrosion and prevents reflections that could startle game, for example. The tried-and-tested handle made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic lies ergonomically in the hand and allows you to work without tiring. The solid scabbard with wire cutting function rounds off the equipment picture. The sheath can be quickly detached from the belt and attached using the click mechanism.

Eickhorn Solingen:

In the past, Eickhorn almost exclusively supplied the authorities with its combat, rescue and bayonet knives. These knives were so convincing due to their functionality, their individual design and their robustness that a demand quickly developed among civilians who also wanted to buy these Eickhorn knives. The knife company saw this request and complied with it.

In order to meet the high demands that Eickhorn places on himself and his knives, the highest level of masterwork is required in production. However, true quality starts early, with the raw materials! Eickhorn only uses the very best materials for its knives. Once these have been selected, they are passed on to specialists who use them to manufacture high-quality knives according to traditional templates. These are then brought to the end product by professional knife grinders.

There is a trend that many companies are relocating their production abroad. Eickhorn is against this development and would like to continue producing and managing the company in Solingen, the city of blades, in the future.
