Sharpening voucher

When you buy this Eickhorn SEK II Tactical, we give you a voucher for professional re-sharpening. Even high-quality knives like the Eickhorn SEK II Tactical lose their sharpness over time and become blunt. This process can be slowed down by careful storage and care, but it can never be stopped entirely. If the knife has become too blunt, sharpening with a normal whetstone is no longer sufficient. That is why we are giving you the opportunity to have your knife professionally sharpened in the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. All further information can be found on your voucher card and on our Grinding service.

Eickhorn Solingen:

Eickhorn became known as a manufacturer of bayonets, combat and rescue knives for the authorities, which made up almost exclusively the customer base and brought these knives on their missions all over the world. It quickly became apparent that Eickhorn knives are particularly stable, functional and of high quality and that they differ significantly from other knives. The innovative new knife designs were convincing and civilians also approached Eickhorn and asked for knives. The knife manufacturer considered and then decided that they could not and do not want to withhold their outstanding knives from anyone, and thus also conquered the civilian market.

In order to meet the high demands that Eickhorn particularly places on himself and his knives, a lot of experience, talent and work is required. Fortunately, Eickhorn can fall back on 150 years of experience and benefit from it. In the field of damask knives, Eickhorn has brought Markus Balbach, the damask smith known throughout Europe and one of the best of his craft, into the team. Balbach's Damascus blades are unparalleled and convince with their expressiveness.

The Eickhorn knives are produced in Solingen instead of where the knife manufacturer is based. Even if many Solingen knife manufacturers are now based abroad in order to produce inexpensively there, Eickhorn wants to keep its distance and remain loyal to Solingen.
