With our sharpening voucher, we give you the opportunity to let your knife shine in new splendor. Your knife will be sharpened at the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. All further information can be found on the voucher card.
Nesmuk Exclusive Chef's Knife - For the highest demands on elegance and cutting performance
The blades of the C100 series are an expression of perfect craftsmanship. Typical of the C100 series is the elaborate, faceted hollow cut on both sides. Especially with the wider blade types, the facet makes it easier to remove the material to be cut from the blade.
The starting steels used in our Damascus steel for the C90 and C100 series are high-performance tool steels. A high carbon content and, among other things, tungsten result in material properties that are extraordinary. The result is the extreme sharpness and outstanding service life of the Nesmuk EXKLUSIV blades.
The chef's knife of the C100 series has 350 layers and a hardness of 62 to 63 HRC.
Thanks to the vitreous NPC coating (Nesmuk Protective Coating) developed jointly with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology, the Nesmuk EXCLUSIVE blades are protected against corrosion.
ORIGIN OF A CRAFT TRADITION - 350 layers of steel form the elegant pattern of the wild damask with the finest deduction on the edge. The 180 mm long, facetted blade with hollow ground on both sides ensures that the food to be cut does not stick and makes the knife an all-rounder in every kitchen. Classic wild damask symbolizes the origin of this craftsmanship: the composition of different types of steel, specifically selected to combine their functional advantages and thus create a blade that is far superior to conventional monosteel blades. Carbon content: 1.0 %.
MIRROR SHINE FOR EXTREME SHARPNESS - Anyone who has cut with a real damask knife will feel the difference: the hand-sharpened and polished blade offers a unique sharpness and reminds of the origin of this craftsmanship with every cut.
THE VALUE OF REAL HANDICRAFT - From the back of the blade with up to 3 mm solid Damascus steel, the blade tapers from the central ridge up to a thousandth of a millimeter at the cutting edge: The double-sided hollow ground below the facet is 100 % handcrafted in the Nesmuk forge.
