Felix First Class Wood Santoku Knife

Very thin slices can be cut in no time with the Japanese Santoku knife. The traditional hollow cut is the secret of this knife from the FIRST CLASS WOOD series. Thanks to the special grind, the food to be cut does not stick to the 18 cm long blade. The knife is particularly suitable for preparing salmon, ham or vegetables. But also chopping herbs is child's play due to the round control room.

First Class Wood Series:

FIRST CLASS WOOD is a classic beauty with a Mediterranean character. In terms of production and quality, like the FIRST CLASS, FIRST CLASS WOOD impresses with the special charisma of the olive wood handle. Only olive wood from Andalusia is used. There the wood is obtained from trees up to 1000 years old in limited deforestation and afforestation under state supervision. The structure of olive wood is dense and firm, even and fine. Olive wood impresses with its antiseptic ingredients and a long service life. With a little care, the wood retains its clear structure, intense color and expressiveness.

FELIX Solingen:

FELIX GMBH SOLINGEN is one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the world. Since 1790 FELIX has been producing unique knives that are unparalleled in quality, function and design. They are among the best handcrafted knives in the world. FELIX knives have been awarded the iF Product Design Award in gold for one of the most beautiful products in the world and the RedDot Design Award. The FELIX company works exclusively with high-quality raw materials. The blades guarantee flexibility, corrosion resistance and high edge retention thanks to the even and dense grain of the microstructure in the steel. A FELIX knife goes through approx. 45 work steps before it leaves the factory. Most of them by hand. The complex knowledge of traditional production and the precise processing are visible in every FELIX knife. But above all, they can be felt.
