The Robert Klaas US trapper is an elegant gentleman's knife, made in Solingen.

The handle of this Robert Klaas knife is made of blue colored poplar wood. For these exclusive handle scales, the root wood of the poplar is stabilized with blue resin. The result is a handle with a fantastic luxurious look. The rivets and the jaws are made of high quality nickel silver.

This pocket knife has a clip point blade. It is opened with two hands and held open with a slipjoint. This combination of two-handed opening and the lack of a lock means that you can carry this knife with you almost anywhere.

The blade is made of 1.4034 steel. This is a grade of steel that is very similar in properties to the familiar 420 steel types. Rust-free, easy to sharpen and a clean sharpness retention.

You also have the option of choosing between a leather sheath made of camel leather or cowhide.
