Hubertus boozer:

In contrast to normal hunting pocket knives, extension knives have a knife blade that protrudes from the handle when folded. The extended blade can be used like a fixed knife for cutting game and other work. Thanks to the special opening mechanism, you can flick the blade out of the handle and thus almost double its length. For example, the hunting knife is suitable for killing game. These practical knives have been around for over 100 years and have been produced by various manufacturers in Solingen in different versions: with a lever or push button as a trigger, with or without a crossguard, with blades up to 30 cm in length.

Right from the start, these knives have been called "drunkards". This illustrates the use as a hunting knife. Around 1900, however, “drunkards” also referred to large fixed hunting knives, which were suitable for hunting for wild boar. This HUBERTUS drunkard is equipped with a cross-guard made of nickel silver, which lies flat on the handle when closed and swivels in front of the handle when the blade is opened. The hunting knife has a foldable lever for locking and unlocking.

With the purchase of this knife, we give you a voucher card for professional re-sharpening free of charge.  Even the best knives lose their sharpness over time, despite optimal use and storage. If the process has progressed too far, sharpening with a sharpening steel is no longer sufficient. With our sharpening voucher, we give you the opportunity to let your knife shine in new splendor.
