With the purchase of this knife, we give you a voucher card for professional re-sharpening free of charge. 

Even the best knives lose their sharpness over time, despite optimal use and storage. If the process has progressed too far, sharpening with a sharpening steel is no longer sufficient. With our sharpening voucher, we give you the opportunity to let your knife shine in new splendor. Your knife will be sharpened at the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. Güde Santoku knife Damstahl

This Güde knife is a real luxury variant of Damascus steel knives. The Güde Santoku knife shows at first sight that this is a very individual, exclusive specialty. The blade is made from the so-called "wild damask". Wild Damascus is characterized by the fact that this special Damascus steel is made from a soft, elastic steel and an extremely hard steel. The blade is forged by hand in over 50 manual operations. The beautiful and unusual pattern makes this knife a real eye-catcher. The triple riveted handle of this Güde knife from the Damascus steel knife series consists of partially petrified, up to 1,500 year old desert ironwood. The extremely hard wood is perfectly matched to the Damascus blade thanks to its individual grain. The knife is not rustproof and must not be put in the dishwasher.

Damascus steel knife series:

In the “wild damask” over 300 layers of a soft and elastic and an extremely hard steel are forged manually into a blade of the highest perfection in a process that takes up to 2 days, depending on the knife type. After a further 50 manual work steps, a Güde Damascus steel knife is finished. Extremely hard, up to 1,500 years old desert ironwood is used as the handle material. The knives are of course not dishwasher safe and not rustproof.
