This knife has certainly been made in this shape unchanged since the 1950s, but the design is probably much older. If there is such a thing as a typical German pocket knife, it would be the Solingen hunting pocket knife.
The size is perfect for the bag, the tools (lockable blade, saw, corkscrew) are exactly what I need. The locked blade has no play. The play of colors of silver stainless steel, golden nickel silver and the light gray of the stag horn looks very noble.
This knife has what it takes to become my favorite EDC knife. It only competes with its little brother, the Hubertus knife series 10.
But: The processing could be better. I ordered 4 knives, of which 2 I kept (for me and to give away). 2 were sent back. The gaps are moderate, but not catastrophic.
I am very satisfied with the 2 out of 4 knives.
