Felix Sirius preparation knife Damascus steel:
This preparation knife made of 130 layers of DSC® Inox Damascus steel is, together with the chef's knife, the new and wonderful addition to your Sirius knife. Manufactured using traditional forging technology, this damascus steel goes through a complex manufacturing process. Forging is done with the help of traditional coal forging fires and gas stoves on the anvil or a forging hammer. This technique has been used for more than 2000 years and has been known since the manufacture of Japanese samurai swords. Anyone who has worked with this knife once is no longer here.
Sharpening voucher
With the purchase of this knife, we give you a voucher card for professional re-sharpening free of charge.
Even the best knives lose their sharpness over time, despite optimal use and storage. If the process has progressed too far, sharpening with a sharpening steel is no longer sufficient. With our sharpening voucher, we give you the opportunity to let your knife shine in new splendor. Your knife will be sharpened at the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. All further information can be found on the voucher card.
Sirius series:
The knives of the SIRIUS series are real eye-catchers. The ergonomically shaped handles made of stabilized maple wood are food-safe, easy to care for and lie comfortably and securely in the hand. The blades made of 130 layers of stainless DSC-Inox-Damascus steel are vacuum-hardened - which makes the structure in the steel fine and tight - and with 60 Rockwell they have an excellent edge retention. The knives are optically, haptically and functionally a pure blessing.
FELIX Solingen:
FELIX GMBH SOLINGEN is one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the world. Since 1790 FELIX has been producing unique knives that are unparalleled in quality, function and design. They are among the best handcrafted knives in the world. FELIX knives have been awarded the iF Product Design Award in gold for one of the most beautiful products in the world and the RedDot Design Award. The FELIX company works exclusively with high-quality raw materials. The blades guarantee flexibility, corrosion resistance and high edge retention thanks to the even and dense grain of the microstructure in the steel. A FELIX knife goes through approx. 45 work steps before it leaves the factory. Most of them by hand. The complex knowledge of traditional production and the precise processing are visible in every FELIX knife. But above all, they can be felt.
