Sharpening voucher

With the purchase of an Eickhorn SEK II G-10 knife, we give you a voucher for professional re-sharpening. Even with optimal storage and care, even the best knives will become dull over time and lose their sharpness. If your knife has become too blunt, a normal sharpening steel is no longer sufficient and a professional will have to sharpen the knife. With this voucher we give you the opportunity to have your Eickhorn SEK II G-10 knife professionally sharpened in the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. You can find all further information on your gift card.

Eickhorn SEK II G-10 knife:

Single-edged version of the very successful model SEK with spear-point blade. Blade made of Böhler N695 steel with Dull finish. Screwed handle shells made of the extremely non-slip Rough Grip G-10. Delivery with Kydex sheath and Tek-Lok adapter. Total length 21.5 cm. Blade length 10 cm. Blade thickness 5 mm. Weight 140 g.

Eickhorn Solingen:

The knife manufacturer Eickhorn is known for its bayonet, combat and rescue knives, which used to be made almost exclusively for the authorities. These knives differ significantly in their functionality and quality from other knives and thus quickly gained an excellent reputation. For this reason, the demand increased even among civilians, until Eickhorn finally gave in and decided not to withhold his innovative knives from anyone.

In order to meet their own high standards, Eickhorn relies on a lot of experience and talent. Fortunately, the company can look back on 150 years and learn from the past. In the manufacture of knives, Eickhorn combines tradition and experience with the very latest knowledge in knife manufacture. This is how the best knives can be made, which are second to none.

Solingen is and remains the home of Eickhorn. The company distances itself from the trend to relocate production facilities abroad just to save money and will continue to be loyal to the city of blades.

Tradition obliges - to take new steps. While Eickhorn-Solingen used to serve the government market almost exclusively with bayonets, combat and rescue knives and gained an excellent reputation for functionality and quality in this area worldwide, the company now also wants to inspire the civil market for innovative knife designs and cutting edge products from the most modern production .

Old craft and young technology - an ideal team. In the field of processing decorative high-performance steels, the choice fell on the well-known damask smith Markus Balbach, who is without a doubt one of the best European specialists in his field. Its damask blades stand for expressiveness and masterful perfection.

The location remains - for good reason. While more and more companies are relocating the manufacture of their knives to the Far East, Original Eickhorn-Solingen has a more than 150-year tradition of the best German engineering and manufacturing services, which have always been and inextricably linked with the Solingen location. And it should stay that way.

The high quality standard of the original Eickhorn-Solingen products is guaranteed by the most modern CNC machining centers, carefully selected primary materials and the latest quality assurance systems. The company was certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000 in 2006 and has been confirmed annually to this day.
