The handmade steak knife comes from the Güde Alpha Olive knife series. The combination of 500 year old olive wood and traditional blacksmithing make this kitchen knife unique. The Güde company uses approx. 500 year old olive wood from sustainable wood cultivation for the handle scales. The slow growth of the olive tree gives the wood its unique grain and makes it more resistant. Olive wood handle scales are antibacterial and are comfortable to hold. Due to the different grains of the olive wood, each knife is unique. The small, handy Güde steak knife item no. X313 / 12 from the Alpha Olive series portions your steak professionally with little effort. Once you've cut your steak with a good steak knife, you won't want to go without it. With its sharp blade, it not only cuts steaks, but is also an excellent helper when preparing roasts or other meat dishes. The hand-forged blade made of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel is made from one piece, ice-hardened and hand-sharpened. The steak knife from Güde has a blade hardness of 56 HRC. Accordingly, a simple regrinding is possible without the material suffering as a result. The mixture of chrome-vanadium-molybdenum is mainly used by the Güde company for the production of high-quality knives. This means that the blade has an optimal level of corrosion resistance, i.e. it is rust-free. The blade steel is ice-hardened after processing. As a result, the knife remains as sharp as when used for the first time, even after repeated use.
