With our sharpening voucher, we give you the opportunity to let your knife shine in new splendor. Your knife will be sharpened at the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. Nesmuk Exclusive Slicer - For the highest demands on elegance and cutting performance
The structure of the Damascus steel of the C150 series differs from the other EXKLUSIV series C100 and C90. The damask layers are made of special alloys that are flexible and at the same time create an even more brilliant, very high-contrast pattern. The 201 layers of flexible Damascus steel enclose a cutting layer made from one of the purest carbon steels available. This guarantees the highest level of sharpness and an exceptional hardness of 65 HRC. Thanks to the flexible Damascus steel on the outside, the hard cutting edge in the middle is less prone to breakage. The perfect combination of hardness and flexibility.
The C150 blades are completely ground by hand in order to be able to work out the cutting position perfectly and centrally. The double-sided, faceted hollow grinding is a technically very demanding work step that requires skill and a steady hand.
Only the best knife makers with many years of experience carry out this work in the Nesmuk Manufactory.
Thanks to the vitreous NPC coating (Nesmuk Protective Coating) developed together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology, the Nesmuk EXCLUSIVE blades are protected against corrosion *.
Passion for true craftsmanship - 201 layers of Damascus steel, 160 mm, 64-65 HRC, 1 masterpiece: The production of a Nesmuk EXCLUSIVE C150 Slicer takes more than four dozen work steps - a knife that can only be made in the hands of a master blacksmith. The facetted blade with a hollow bevel on both sides ensures that the clinging of the cut material is reduced and its slim silhouette makes it ideal for filleting. Carbon content: 1.5 %.
ROYAL DISCIPLINE OF THE FORGING ART - The thin cutting edge, which is also visible on the back of the blade, must be placed exactly in the middle and forged - with every single blow of the hammer on the red-hot steel it is decided whether a masterpiece is created. Only the mastery of this art turns a very good blacksmith into a master blacksmith.
EVERY BLADE IS UNIQUE - The unique damask pattern makes every blade unmistakable and every knife is unique. In recognition of the craftsmanship, each individual knife is painstakingly assembled, sharpened, polished by hand and finally receives its individual certificate of authenticity and quality.
