Description
Belgian chunks are used to sharpen knives. These are natural stones that are quarried in the Belgian Ardennes. Their unique composition enables fine sanding that is also gentle on the material.
The light-colored layer is used for grinding, the slate layer on the underside only serves to reinforce the grindstone.
The Belgian chunk is moistened for grinding. The blade is placed on the stone at an acute angle and pulled off with circular movements. A natural grinding paste is formed, which grinds the blade finely and at the same time polishes it.
The Belgian Brocken size 6 is the middle size of our Brocken. It is particularly suitable for larger pocket knives and small knives such as paring knives.
