A proven classic knife becomes something special. With the new Otter beekeeping knife, there is now a faithful companion. Jaws, plates and rivets are made of brass, as is the honeycomb inlay with the image of a bee. The brass harmonises very well with the wood of the sea buckthorn. Sea buckthorn is a native wood with a beautiful grain, which provides the handle scales for this knife. The beekeeping knife is only available with a stainless steel blade.

OTTER – Hot quality from Solingen since 1840

Around 1840, the Otter knife company was founded in Solingen in a small Kotten, a traditional water-powered grinding shop. At that time, many otters lived on the nearby streams and rivers, these were the model for the name of the brand otter and still decorate the knives as a logo.

The Otter pocket knives and knives are carefully handcrafted and sharpened. In the production process, the established tradition, which has produced many high-quality Solingen knives, is still adhered to today. The range of knife company Otter includes leisure knives, garden knives, household knives and hunting knives. A large part of the blades are made of carbon and therefore have excellent edge retention and robustness.
