An engraving plate complements the booklet. The blade is made of stainless steel 1.4110. The blade has a Rockwell hardness of 56 degrees. The classic back lock reliably locks the blade in the working position, which ensures safe working.

In 1890 the penknife rider Friedrich Wilhelm Hartkopf founded the company Friedrich Hartkopf eK in Solingen. Right from the start, the company specialized in the manufacture of pocket knives and penknives. As in the founding year 1890, the pocket knives of the Hartkopf company are still carefully handcrafted.
