Sharpening voucher

With the purchase of this knife, we give you a voucher card for professional re-sharpening free of charge.  Even the best knives lose their sharpness over time, despite optimal use and storage. If the process has progressed too far, sharpening with a sharpening steel is no longer sufficient. With our sharpening voucher, we give you the opportunity to let your knife shine in new splendor. This means that your knife will be sharpened at the Wasserkraft Manufaktur in Solingen Wipperkotten. All further information can be found on the voucher card and under Grinding service.

Eickhorn KM3000:

At the suggestion of experienced soldiers, designer Dietmar Pohl developed the KM3000 model with a spear point blade tip, which offers soldiers a much wider range of applications. The Böhler N695 steel blade (HRC 57) has a black Kalgard coating. The total length of the Eickhorn KM3000 is 30.2 cm, of which the 17.2 cm blade and 13 cm handle. The blade thickness is 5 mm and the weight 330 g.

Eickhorn Solingen:

Eickhorn has gained an excellent reputation worldwide for combat, rescue and bayonet knives, which used to be almost exclusively delivered to the authorities. Nowadays, the knife manufacturer also wants to inspire the civilian market with high quality, functionality and innovation.

Eickhorn achieves the outstanding quality of every knife through the interplay of tried and tested craftsmanship and the latest technology. In the field of damask blades, Eickhorn decided on Markus Balbach, the well-known damask smith. He is one of the best professionals in his field in Europe and undoubtedly makes real masterpieces.

One hears again and again that traditional Solingen companies are relocating their location and production to the Middle East. Eickhorn, on the other hand, has been manufacturing knives in the blade city of Solingen for over 150 years. A city whose name stands for high-quality cutlery, just as Eickhorn has committed itself to this promise. Solingen is and will remain the home of Eickhorn.
